Maija was affectionally called “Pudding” in the Christmas themed litter, a rather chunky wolf sable. She caught my eye as one of the quick thinking pups in the litter and was quick to learn to toilet outside always a good way to catch a breeder’s eye. Phillip and Katie had set their hearts on one of Huntu’s pups, so they had the choice of the girls and Maija joined the family.
She has been one of those model pups, housetrained quickly and never chewed anything indoors, ok so the garden was redesigned a little. Like her mum she is very bright, has a fab recall and loves all her extended family, coming back regularly of course.
She debuted in the showring at Windsor to take Best Puppy in breed and picked up a number of first places, then rather naked in middle of her Junior moult she went to her first Crufts, as one of the youngest in the class and was placed 3rd, qualifying her for 2024’s Crufts.
