Sampo was the last born pup in the litter of three from Kaapro x Halla’s litter. He was called Wolfie on account of his colour (hardly an original name, but he did stand out somewhat!). A very cuddly outgoing boy – so affectionate he was destined to join Selina and fill the very big paws of Kai her first lapphund, sadly no longer with us. Selena works the “Dogs For Good” and we hope Sampo will be a credit to the breed working alongside Selena.
Credit to him, his fab nature and Selina’s training & socialisation – I “stole” him for a weekend and took him off to Richmond Championship show under respected Finnish judge Harry Tast, where on his debut to the show ring he won a well supported puppy dog class, and came a very good second in the Junior class behind big cousin Poika qualifying for Crufts.
He then went onto be handled by Selina to win his Junior class at Crufts
