Crufts is always a special show – but Crufts 2016 was an amazing day.  From an entry of  100 Finnish Lapphunds our judge Miss Elina Haapaniemi awarded BOB and the second CC to Elbereth Pelinainen and reserve CC to Tilkkuturkin Hallantuoma to Elbereth JW, both sired by the 2015 BOB – Elbereth Matkamies.

Elbereth Valkotassu won post graduate dog for Gemma & Robin Perkins (also sired by Matkamies)

LB (8,1) 1 Elbereth Pelinainen, a little over 2 year old, very beautiful bitch shown in excellent bloom. So well balanced & typical in every respect. Excellent head, eye & expression. Correct amount of bone. Well bodied for age. Well made, sound quarters which she used well on the move. A top quality breed representative I was happy to award the CC & BOB. Pelinainen & my RCC winner Hallantuoma were very similar in type & turned out to have the same sire;
