Champions

Elbereth Matkamies was the 1st Finnish Lapphund Champion in 2011, followed in 2012, by the first bitch champion, his sister, Kia. They were joined by E Marja in 2013, and in 2016 E Pelinainen gained her crown, followed by E Tuulenpoika in 2019

Litter plans

Summary

  • Multi Ch Elbereth Matkamies ShCM continues to hold the breed record of 22CCs (21 different judges)
    His winning offspring including Vasaran Barbarossa, Tilkkuturkin Hallantuoma & E Pelinainen continue to achieve top awards
  • Multi Ch Elbereth Matkamies ShCM only attended a few shows but was BV at SFLS open show 2019, and at 11 years was placed 2nd to BOB at Crufts 2020
  • Ch Elbereth Pelinainen JW holds the breed record for bitches  at 20 CCs. In 2017 she won eight CCs, more than any other dog/bitch has won in a single year, she had her first litter in Novembe 2019
  • Ch Tilkkuturkin Hallantuoma to Elbereth JW ShCM has not been campaigned as much as Peli, but continues to increase her CC/RCC tally, her second litter was born in May 2020
  • Ch Lecibsin Ukas to Elbereth won an additional 4 CC, to make him the 3rd top male to date Ch Elbereth Tuulenpoika JW  became Elbereth’s fifth homebred Champion
  • Elbereth Lumenlumo
    won two CCs to be the first cream lapphund to win a CC. Elbereth Suvituuli JW also continues her winning ways and added another RCC
